Marina
Krupa
Marina was born and raised in Ukraine. She decided to leave Ukraine during her college years and worked as an au pair in Norway, France and then eventually came to the United States in 2006.
During her school years in Charkov she trained swimming at the prestigious Dinamo sport club. She was on the swim team for three years from the age of 8 till the age of 11 and her favorite stroke was the backstroke.
In 1991 after the collapse of the USSR the club closed down unfortunately and her swim coach immigrated to western Europe.
In the chaotic, post USSR reality during her high school years she volunteered as a swim coach every summer at one of the two uncovered city pools.
She studied early age education for two years at the National Ukrainian Academy in Charkov. During that time she joined the College Rowing Team and she loved it!
Marina speaks Ukranian, Russian, English and French.
She has been working with kids for the last 20 years, always fascinated with the process of their growth and development.
She loves water sports and teaching kids how to swim is her dream job.
Renee was born and raised in New York City.
She learned how to swim at the age of 5 following the steps of her older cousin, who monitored the waters from Coney Island to Rockaway Beach during summers as a lifeguard and worked as a swim instructor at public city pools in the winter time.
Renee Rovaldo
Melinda Kasza grew up in Budapest, Hungary. She fell in love with water immediately when she learned how to swim at the age of 5. She joined the swim team at Budapesti Vasutas Sport Club at the age of 6, to practice her new passion and keep improving her swim strokes. She also took ballet classes for 3 years, where she learned how to perfect her form by paying attention to details of her body movements. She learned at an early age that with persistence anything is possible and practice makes perfect eventually.
Melinda Kasza
Renee trained in ballet, tap and acrobatics from the age of 5 to the age of 16.
She competed regionally with the Brooklyn Dance Center Elite Team in solo and group performances finishing with many top medal standings.
These practices led to a strong self awareness and desire to always perform at top levels
. Competing was challenging, but she has learned that consistent effort always delivers results and most importantly, that emotional ups and downs are a part of the game.

To win the game we must learn how to deal with them in the most constructive way to harness their energy instead of letting our fears and insecurities hold us back.
Renee graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Business Administration and International Marketing, She also worked and volunteered in Hartford Public Schools teaching students the healthy practices of yoga, meditation, greenhouse gardening, seed sprouting and self care.
Renee is the
first mom on our team!
Her connection with water has brought her to Miami Beach where she can enjoy water sports all year long.
She loves spending her time in the water while making a positive impact on little children, helping them develop their strength, persistence and confidence at such an early age.
Her goal is to playfully make kids fall in love with water and teach them the skills that will keep them safe.
Heading 3
In March 2024 she brought to this world a beautiful baby boy, who will be an unmatched swim champion of his age group as he has done a fair amount of swim lessons already in his mama's belly :)
